when saving text put it as plain text it stripes out all the formatting and makes it into a hash key format.
indesign make sure the text box is active and then go to glue and place and navigate and then places the text in the box.
work place change it to book and make the programme fun to use.
then you can change font size and etc.

what it does is creates the progress of the typography and the style of it, window menu style character
box comes up and then press menu and new character style then a big box comes up then you take name: text normal basic character format. font family: book style old style you always use regular. 12/11/10. leading means lines space. auto tracking means, space the letters out. set it to 15.
and then press text normal.
add new then text+ 15 tract style name--- which needs to be automatic.
I used Photoshop to decrease the brightness in the background photo, to start off with I used rulers to mark out where i wanted to burn the picture then i proceeded to create a layer to go over the bright parts, this was then switched with the original picture i had used for Indesign.
I used Photoshop again to adjust the brightness level in another few places to work with the writing and pictures I had added. this made it a lot easier to read the writing, the background isn't as harsh/ bright anymore it is now blended well.
To create my header i used indesign and pulled up swatches to create a header and made the outline black and the middle white to create a bolder/ more outstanding header.for my subheading i am using "making a difference".

1. You need to put your final double page in here with screen grabs, with explanations of how you built it.
ReplyDelete2. You also need to put in here screen grabs of the way you created your video in premier pro, again with explanations of what you did.
3. There should be a link to youtube where you video is uploaded
4. The final double page should be uploaded in a jpg after you have saved it in photoshop from the pdf you exported in Indesign (see me if this confuses you!)
This needs to be done next week / over half term as a final deadline
